Nature of the service

CaloFlash is for everyday food, weight, and trend logging. AI photo estimation is an experimental feature that may change, pause, or end. Estimates, progress reports, and suggestions are informational and are not medical, nutritional, or diagnostic advice.

AI and data processing

Before using AI, you must review the privacy notice. Required AI data may be processed internationally; providers, scope, retention, and withdrawal are described in the Privacy Policy. Refusing AI processing does not affect manual logging.

Free to use

Logging, weight tracking, trends, progress reports, Health sync and widgets are free.

Purchases and subscriptions

Core features such as logging, weight and trends are free to use. The AI monthly plan renews automatically each month; AI top-ups can only be bought with an active subscription. “Treat the developer to a coffee” is an optional, repeatable one-time payment with no renewal, AI uses or features. Existing AI uses are kept. Prices, taxes, cancellation and refunds follow the App Store and Apple’s rules. Pausing AI or stopping new sales does not cancel existing subscriptions; manage renewal or cancellation in the App Store.

Acceptable use and availability

Do not bypass usage limits, automate bulk requests, disrupt the service, reverse engineer cloud interfaces, or upload images you have no right to process. Security, quality, provider, or system issues may pause cloud services; manual records and existing local data remain available.

Changes and responsibility

Material changes will be explained in the app or on this page. Check important records and keep exported backups. Liability is not excluded where applicable law does not permit exclusion.
